The reason for F17 was that i am more familiar with F17 and not so with the changes made in F19.

It depends. With a bootstrap or chroot it might work. What Linux distro did you have in mind?

There are customer that have managed to install their own OS, but we don't supported as a valid OS from our automatic reinstallation
