My request was forwarded to the data centre by UK support staff 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing back yet. They did however tell me that they don't know how long it would take and even then it was the managers discretion whether or not to deploy one to me.

I think he has mentioned the that the holy grail of business plans will be launched at the end of this month.

We are only 7 days away so we shall see.

The watch out is either that he has put up the prices / reduced the offering in which case it might not be as attractive considering what was on offer before. Or the offer is the same and they are all sold out before you realize that they came back on sale

I have no doubt OVH have been building a truck load of servers ready for what ever the announcement is.

I need a new server.

I would like an mSP, as it offers the processor, and HDD that I need, along with the right level of support (SLA). For this particular application, RAM is not really an issue.

My target is to get this setup and online by 30th November 2013. I am looking to purchase in about two weeks' time (7th Nov). This will give me chance to setup & test the software I am installing.

Currently, there is a similar machine at LeaseWeb with spec's that are close enough, for similar money.
