Hello,
We have recently updated FreeBSD 9 to version 9.2.
New features include:
- use of "pkgng" for binary packet installations (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/pkgng-intro.html)
- ZFS supports the TRIM operation for SSDs
- DTRACE support in the GENERIC kernel
- OpenSSL, OpenSSH, Sendmail updates...
For the full list of the changes, go to: http://www.freebsd.org/releases/9.2R/relnotes.html
FreeBSD 9.2 is delivered in 64bit with its original kernel.
The relevant “rescue” system has also been updated.
Please don't hesitate to leave us any feedback here.
Kind regards,
Félix
