He said week for sure, I still remember high school French, sorta.
Yes, you are kinda right.

The tweet from 22 Dec says "trying this week" (according to Google translate).

So I guess they missed that week. And the one after that.

There is probably much more truth in my sarcastic comments than Oles/OVH would like.

In reality, the "j" stands for "jerk-arounds", so "7j" actually means 7 jerk-around's left before any meaningful information will be given.

Given it's just for backups, low power CPU (even Atom) and not that much RAM (2GB?) with some solid amount of disks would be great (perhaps 3-4x 4TB?).
Sorry Bart, if you think OVH will release a server with anything less than 32GB RAM, I think you are mistaken. As far as they are concerned if you need any quality of support you either need a VPS or at least 32GB. Anything between those would be completely pointless - or require "meh" support.

I see the Backup Servers have disappeared from OVH, and re-appeared on SYS. The (Backup Servers) link at the foot of OVH.co.uk now takes you to general Dedicated Servers page, with no servers listed. (The same page you see if you go to kimisufi.co.uk)

Yet another money-saving move from OVH? Sell the servers at the same price, but with less support.

Surely something with 24TB of drives should be on OVH...?
