Yup - it looks for whatever you enter, so the email alias is the thing you'd put. Works a treat for filtering, just a shame the to address is displayed as the main account rather than the alias. But the filtering does the trick

Hey,

The problem is that whilst it's displayed in the headers and message details in OWA, I can't see any way to filter it based on it being displayed there, it only seems to filter based on what you see first of all (the "to" field) here:

If there's some way to create a filter that is able to look at key parts of the header and filter based on that receiving address, that would do. As it stands (and without fiddling in depth) i can only seem to filter based on the "to" address above

I've put in an email support ticket via the manager

Hi

It is okay for us, could you send us an email with the issue you have, I think this needs to be checked by the developers.

HI

I will check to see if this is an Exchange issue or the way we offer the product.

hello,

I've noticed that when emailing an alias created in the Exchange 2013 product, that when you've received the email, the "to" field in that email is that of the associated account rather than the alias address. This makes it quite difficult to set any sort of conditional formatting / email rules to filter based on the "to" address.

Is this intentional? Or is this a bug, and should it show the alias as opposed to the associated account? Short of telling people to put keywords in the subject, it makes it pretty difficult to filter stuff
