Hello,

The release of the latest version of FreeBSD was announced yesterday:

FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE

It is now also available on reinstallation via the various manager interfaces and API v6, of course.
As with all new versions, the FreeBSD project has integrated a lovely list of new features and additional functions,
such as:

- Unbound replaces BIND as a caching nameserver
- Clang replaces GCC on Intel architectures
- Bmake replaces make
- Pkg replaces the old pkg_* tools and makes life easier for admins
- Virtualisation; better support for Xen, VWware, HyperV and Virtio
- New integrated hypervisor: Bhyve (comparable to KVM on Linux)

For the full list of additions, we recommend that you check out the official release notes:

During the beta phase, please don't hesitate to leave us your comments here.

Kind regards,

Félix
