Bittorrent is not illegal, however if you are found transferring illegal materials then OVH would intervene. You'll be fine otherwise and I don't recall OVH scanning traffic for anything illegal. They rely on reports from other people.

Since btsync uses the bit-torrent protocol, is this not permitted on OVH servers? I've seen it mentioned before, and I recall an OVH staffer saying that it's okay.
