Hi

If you have an SYS IP fail over you can move it to an OVH server. We are currently developing this feature for SYS IP to be migrated to OVH. This means you can keep your existing IP. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA for this yet.

Can OVH clarify the point of marketing these as "failover" IPs? Chances are you won't be able to failover to another SYS server as it's quite easy to use 5 IPs for a few VMs. On top of that, no system is in place to failover to an OVH server, so if you want to upgrade you have to get new IPs.

Hi

Its not possible to add additional IP from a secondary SYS server allocaton onto one SYS server. The maximum IP failover for SYS servers is 5. If you require more than 5, You would be looking towards an OVH server.

You'd be better off contacting support with that query.

Hi,

We are looking to order a SYS server, but we wish to know whether it is possible to add more IP's to one dedicated server for the purpose of Virtual Container hosting. We are looking at maybe 10-20 extra IPv4 IP's here.

Is it possible?
