Server Upgrades

Ah yes of course that would make things a lot easier!
It's unfortunate that there isn't a way of automatically doing it in the manager, at least keeping the IP addresses but I presume that the main IP is always assigned to the same hostname (aka nsXXXX.ovh.net) and the fail over assigned when you request it.
There's no good reason not to let you keep the fail over though, but personally I enjoy picking a new IP every order :P

I have no problem moving data but thought I would ask since copy the entire disk (and then moving over the IPs) would mean very simple and no need to reconfigure things with new IPs.

For the record OVH will not transfer the data. If you ask nicely they will give you an extension on your old server to allow you to transfer the data to your new one!
If you need help moving data give me a PM, £10.

They won't upgrade any hardware. You have to purchase a new server in advance of the old one expiring and move your data over yourself.

What is OVH's policy on upgrading servers?

If I want to upgrade from one server, to another.

Also, Would they transfer the data?
