That is fine it just because the routers do not respond to all IMCP requests, there would be an issue if your pings got packetloss.

Is the connection a Virgin Media Business connection? I've noticed today at work we're experiencing high latency:

Hello Mike and thanks. So in a line of cmd tracert where there are 3 times dropping 1 or 2 is normal ?

The first question and sorry to confuse you. Is it possible for you to find an address that goes through one or more of those links so you can get a full tracert result? I have lost the link that I had written down. I'd really appreciate it if you could find links that travel through those links in the OP so not only I can pass the drops and ms times to Virgin Media but you yourselves can look into it.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I'll try and answer. I know OVH's routers drop ICMP traffic which would explain the timeouts. As for pings, 30ms is pretty normal for servers in another country. I usually get between 20 and 30ms.

Hi all. I haven't got a tracert as such but could I please request help with the follow:

178.33.100.206
ldn-1-6.uk.eu 213.251.128.5
rbx-s4-6k.fr.eu 213.251.128.82
rbx-g1-a9.fr.eu 94.23.122.113

Does anyone know any specific addresses that travel through these links? Does anyone know why there are timeouts and 30+ms pings coming back?

I haven't got any tracerts. I've lost them. I did however write down the links as provided above.

I'm a Virgin Media customer on 30meg down 2meg up.
