If you think it's on the customer... you are wrong. Once an issue has been raised, it's up to the company to sort it out.

A customer shouldn't be the one escalating issues and tickets to higher authority, you pay for that within your server rental.

To say otherwise shows your lack of experience and understanding in the way server hosts do business.
The OP had an issue in which their staff weren't resolving, I have not in ANY WAY said that it shouldn't be sorted out by OVH, because YES, it should. I'm merely stating that if you're unhappy with a service and staff aren't sorting it out, you take it up a level and contact senior staff, yes, that SHOULDN'T be what has to happen, however, if that's what you end up having to do to get the issue resolved, so be it.

Yes, staff should forward it on if they can't deal with the problem, however, if they don't, and you're just sitting there ranting and raving at staff from other countries who can't do stuff all, how do you expect to get such issue resolved? If it were me and they weren't dealing with the issue promptly, nor were they forwarding it, I would forward it myself, simple as.

I have more than enough experience and understanding of the way hosts do business, it's a simple fact of you're either not reading what I'm saying and you're just jumping the gun, OR you are misinterpreting what I'm getting at here. My whole point is that yes, while the staff SHOULD forward it, if they don't, and the issues not being resolved in a timely manor, there are the features there that allow you to inform management yourself, or you can contact management directly.

You've twisted words here, not at any point have I said it would be the clients responsibility to fix such problem.

I'm pretty sure UK staff only have access to tickets from UK clients, so yes, they'll have ticket clients, but probably won't have access to yours considering you're not a UK client.

UK staff aren't going to help you as they've already outlined, you're not from the UK so you're not their problem and rightly so. In future go about it the right way, contact Senior Management like you have done, they'll get it sorted.

i would like to thank Oles for personally looking into this. Although this is not how it should have been done. I pmed Oles on twitter and he responded back in 2 minutes with one word - Fixed. I wish OVH support would do this. I am closing all tickets but this is very scary indeed having to go to twitter to get it resolved.

Thanks to Oles.

And yes may be posting here wont really help anything and may be at the end of the day i will have to wait a month and order a new server..bcz with ovh is rather than fixing the issue if have time to set up everything else from scratch better to order a new server and move on..but i still want people to know that if they ever search for a thread here..this is what they will get..and may be they might find a better way to resolve it quicker in the future by learning from what i am posting.

yeah i am moaning..bcz they have access to the ticket numbers..and if they really wanted to provide customer service then they would get in contact or forward the issue or escalate the issue..this is all the same company..whether i order from .ie .com or .uk my server is in RBX...the technician does not change..i have opened up tickets in ie as well as in .com..sadly the only way is to post here..bcz there is no other response from anywhere else.

i have called .ie many times and they just write a note on my file and tell me the technician is working on it..well it has been a whole day and noone responded..and i doubt there would be any response from anyone over the weekend..

even Oles has admitted there is a bug..but there is absolutely no response whatsoever. I understand ovh customer service is horrible but when the problem is from their end and they have admitted it..they should fix it. its going to be a week soon. I cant even order a new server bcz the new 10Gbps have a 10day waiting period..so i am stuck with this..

Where do i GO if NEIL looks at my server and sees my nic handle and the notes left he will see how many times i have called..yet i have received no response. Ofcourse none of the staff here will do that or claim they have access to it but its all the same system.

What you're failing to realize is the UK teams cannot help you, because you're not a UK customer. You need to be moaning on the forum of the country where you're a customer.

Where?

the new OVH servers are the same.. these changes are bringing our old servers in line with the new ones against our will, so I assume you're going elsewhere?
