If you don't have the information, find out, post it here. If you cannot find out, how the hell are we supposed to?

I note you also failed (yet again) to answer the question I posted about Email support on pre-2013 (Therefore OVH) KS servers.

Kimsufi servers support is not done from the UK support, it's an international service, done from our International office (opposed to from the UK office) and we don't have much information about it.

Regarding transferring IPs from OVH servers to KS: that's not possible anymore (nor is between OVH and SoYouStart servers) and it's not recommended anyway.

Sorry we cannot provide more information, any questions about Kimsufi servers are managed through forum.kimsufi.com. These changes affect KS servers, OVH servers still have the same support in the UK as usual.

I don't know, you could e-mail their support and ask? Their support is top notch so you'll get a reply quite quickly.

Do you know if they do UK based Ripe's?

I'm seriously looking elsewhere.....

Join the dark side and come to Hetzner like I have. Stuff like this is exactly why I jumped ship after several years of loyalty and still got treated badly when it came to quick support...

I now see they aren't opening tickets now for faults, it's all email now... I laughed.... Gets worse n worse.... I should really jump ship.

And the 'missing the point' bit, I was going by the year and price of the servers..... Perhaps they should be re-branded as SYS with the price I pay for one.... I'd go for a SYS, but I cant take my RIPE BLOCKS with me can I? So I'm stuck - can I even transfer them to a mSP/etc?

marks,

Yep, we never did get an answer from you, marks, about the support on the Pre-debacle KS's:

http://forum.ovh.co.uk/showthread.ph...ll=1#post58227

Maybe now that you are not so busy building 20,000 kebab servers you could give us an answer.

So, do you still provide "ticket support" for pre-2013 KS servers, or are you going to reduce the price, to reflect the service we are no longer getting?

The support for KS servers is not done from the UK, at least not at the moment.
But I think the point that is being missed is that when LawsHosting purchased the Kimsufis they had ticket and email support and OVH withdrew that support without making any change on the price of the servers which is disgusting as essentially he is paying for something which he dont get. It is a total mess as with almost any product anywhere from any company the support level remains the same as long as that price is being paid if support is reduced then so the price should be reduced accordingly.
Ovh bang on about turnover and churn but they are the ones that create this by reducing support and not prices along with it.

More threads going un-answered. Customer servers are due for renewal and so far no official response from OVH.

You force KS customers to use a new forum for support, but it's not being checked/attended by OVH staff.
JennyOVH has since replied directly to this thread. Thanks for not forgetting about us older KS customers.

At one point "marks" (below) said to me on this very forum that pre-debacle KS's would still have email-support.

He was defending the price staying the same, when the support was "removed", and I challenged him directly to state that email support was still available for pre-kebab KS's. He never answered that request. Totally ignored.

I would say therefore you should email them, and see if it does get you anywhere...

Hey Laws,

Get yourself over to the hubiC forum. I have support requests there which are ignored for 72 hours, and counting...

No response what so ever.... Kimi or not, support sucks... Seriously, OVH has all gone down hill.
I would recommend to add the server name in your message, otherwise, they won't be able to help you much.
