Hello,
CentOS project has just announced the release of CentOS 7:
http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS7
Once again, the distribution team has rushed to make it available to you ASAP,
so you can now get it on reinstalling your dedicated servers!
As always, it's a basic installation with only the SSH and DNS services preinstalled.
As a reminder, CentOS is a clone of Linux Red Hat Enterprise.
It comes with the same 10 year support duration, i.e. up to June 30th 2024.
For the first time, you can officially update the previous version – 6.5 – to the new version.
To do this, follow the Red Hat instructions:
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...ade_Tools.html
The new version of CentOS is currently available in beta version.
Please don't hesitate to send us your feedback via email or post it here on the forum.
Regards,
Félix
