More pleasant surprises from OVH, server was delivered early hours of this morning.

I put in a thread here and i'm still waiting sadly...
Any ideas what the hold up is?

I never expected anything else, if it comes within another week I will be pleasantly surprised. Also, this is just the beginning, ALWAYS plan for the worst. If a RAID set fails, EXPECT them to change the wrong drive. If a hardware RAID card goes faulty, EXPECT it to take days to get it changed.

In general OVH hardware will be solid but if I do not have a failover I can bring up immediately I will only ever have data on them that I can do without for at least 24 hours.

I can see that there is a delay with the delivery of your server. I will raise a ticket regarding this issue to deliver you the server.

A week ago today I ordered a server showing as available within 72 hours OVH.

Isn't it a shame we can't be billed in the same OVH time units, I'd probably be due to pay my second months payment in a couple of years time
