CloudLinux is a distribution based on CentOS bringing optimisations specifically for web hosting and sharing resources.
This distribution provides better performance and greater stability to further consolidate hosted services.

The CloudLinux added value includes:

- limitation of resources per user with Lightweight Virtual Environment (LVE)

- tighter security with CageFS, which is used to isolate different users

- choice of PHP versions: CloudLinux comes with versions 4.4, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5

- adapted Linux kernel: for greater security and stability for your hosting environments

CloudLinux is therefore ideal for use with hosting panels such as Plesk or cPanel!

This distribution requires a paid licence. Test licences (30 days) are available directly from CloudLinux:

These licences will soon be available directly via the OVH API and Web Control Panel.

This distribution is a basic installation with services for SSH and DNS preinstalled.
Versions with Plesk or cPanel are coming soon.
