Then I dont have information about my "company", and then I realize I need a Private account. Maybe because its a new year I don't know but I just ordered 4 ips and there was a vat charge and vat was already removed from my account. My nic is sb76221-sys any ideas? I don't want to have to pay vat on my server renewal which is coming up soon.

Hello, I have been a validated OVH/SYS customer now for many months. Vat has been removed from account since I have requested it months ago. However I have just ordered a new server today, 1/1/2015 and I was billed for VAT again. Did your system reset for 2015? I registered an account, and I sent the validation documents to validation-ie@soyoustart.com , I got a reply says my order has been created for xx and I should pay for it using some URL along with an order number and password, but when I try to go to that link, it says 'Your user account has not yet been validated.'. This was on Dec 25th and now it says 'This order has expired'.

Second, I live outside EU, so please remove VAT from that the order.

Also, When I try to login to the control panel, it gives me this error 'Nic existant invalide: ea73021-sys'

I have an KS/OVH account and some servers for over 2 years now, and wanted to purchase a SYS server as well, since I saw it was in stock. It seems I had to create a new handle/account with SYS, and am awaiting validation.

Can you have a look at the e-mail I sent ? I've sent it to validation-ie@soyoustart.com, and my nick handle is br138762-sys, but have gotten no reply yet.

Also, as stated in the e-mail, do I really need to pass validation again, if I've already passed it with KS/OVH ?

Are you running a business? Do you understand what customer service means?

Hello, I just ordered a server order #32643319. I was validated and my vat was removed on October 9th, why am I still stuck in "we check your payment manually". I thought getting validated was the whole point in removing manual payment verification??? I cannot believe that a company like this has this god awful support system. No Emails in a week, nothing.

If I was to run my business in this manner I wouldn't have any customers left.

Sad, very sad. I am just hoping that I don't get charged for a server I ordered over a week ago that I sent emails requesting cancellation for.

What I don't understand is OVH Canada, their support is 100x better, at least on the SYS side...

You guys really need to rethink how you do Business.

I have already got my server provisioned and received an invoice SYSFR30527 dated 26/08 which includes VAT. I had already applied for VAT exemption along with the account validation, but the VAT exemption is yet to be processed for the payment of that invoice.

I have even purchased another server Order # 30604374 which is currently under provisioning. The order includes VAT which also has to be refunded.

Both transactions were made through PayPal and I would prefer account credit for the VAT amount rather than refund. My nic handle for SoYouStart is mm271880-sys.

I have an account with OVH.ie which is already validated and VAT exempted but the one with SoYouStart is yet to be exempted. Please expedite.

If you could merge these accounts/see they're the same, that would be great. I've already paid so it's a bit annoying to have to wait.

Strange. In that case I will resend them.
I don't want to be exempt from VAT, I want to pay it(the invoice issued with VAT). However, from what I see, in my account settings a VAT number is required.

I have checked and found no documents for that NIC or the email it's registred to. If you are based in the EU you will require an EU VAT number before you can be exempted.

I ordered a kimsufi server on 18-07-2014 16:10:14 and as far as I know I'm just waiting for validations. Over in there forums its basically members answering what they don't know. At SYS I ordered a server 06-08-2014 14:03:05 with 120sec setup, of course I have to go through validations again but it being days and not getting responses from putting in support tickets I'm wondering if its going to take as long as Kimsufi is taking right now. If SYS just over sold the product and I'm un able to get it, an answer would be nice. Support was quick to get at me when I first ordered the server about a typo in my account but again was misleading when it came to validations.

I receieved this email from soyoustart and promptly responded to it as told
"Dear Customer,

We have received your payment for order # XXXXXXXXX by paypal
and we thank you for your trust.

For your safety, we are led to verify the information
you have given us such as the identity of the contact
billing.

Also, thank you to contact us as soon as possible
to validate your order:

As an order on behalf of an individual,
- Proof of address
- A copy of your ID
- A copy of the ID of the owner of paypal account (if different)


Thank you to transmit these elements:

Either by email on preuve.paiement@ovh.net indicating only
subject (subject line):
"BC 30065112 proof of payment to the attention of the service payment Validation"

OR

or by fax to 33 (0) 3 20 20 09 58 indicating on your documents:
"BC 30065112 proof of payment to the attention of the service payment Validation"

In case of problems, you can contact us by phone at 63 08203203 (No. indigo (0.118 € / min))."

To later be told in a support ticket, the last ticket I receieved an answer from that I must use validation@ovh.net which I have emailed already several times with my nic handle from ovh which is already validated as well as attached photo id and billing statement. All I receieve when I email validations is that a representatvie will be with me as I sit here and wait days for something that is suppose to be able to be delivered in 120sec.

I love ovh and always had excellent support and service from ovh, these off branches you have done with kimsufi and sys I think were the worst of ideas. Atleast share your information so one doesn't have to go through validations again and again. Please help rectify my problem and help me get validated so I may resume using your services and give good praise.

Hi,

Please use this thread for all queries regarding account validation and VAT removal requests instead of creating your own thread.

If you DON'T already have an OVH or Kimsufi account please ensure you have sent the following documents to validation-ie@soyoustart.com


Individual (personal) accounts
  • Valid proof of ID
  • Valid proof of address


Company/Organisation accounts
  • Valid proof of ID
  • Valid proof of address
  • Company registration document


Please note all information MUST match what you have put onto your account


If you already have an OVH or Kimsufi account with the exact same personal details that has already been validated please let us know in your request.

We aim to have all accounts validated within 72 hours of the documents being sent in, but if it's taking longer than that please let us know in this thread.


Please note:
VAT removal is only available for those with a valid EU VAT number and for those based outside the EU.
After your account has been validated, there will be a slight delay before VAT is removed as these operations are not carried out at the same time.
