cPanel can only be installed under CentOS, RHEL, or CloudLinux http://cpanel.net/cpanel-whm/system-requirements/ (note that the latest version of CentOS, 7, isn't yet supported).

ok followed the guide but says not for #Ubuntu? when the net says u can now?

You can buy a cPanel license in your OVH manager. If you have a HOST series server, it's free. Then you have two options:

1. Either reinstall your server with the pre-built cPanel distribution
2. Or if you've installed CentOS, you can download the latest cPanel installers from http://layer1.cpanel.net/

Remember that cPanel costs, it isn't free. You'll need to buy a license for it to work, however for the first 14 days (I believe) you'll have a free trial license.

just got a server, so far all good as 4 mins later i`m installing what i need

i need c panel to add mysql database and php for my ipb board

any one help with info on getting the info needed
