Ipv6 questions

The gateway would be 2001:41d0:2:59FF:FF:FF:FF:FF

You need to add a route for the gateway stating it is on the local LAN, in Linux you do it like this ...
ip -f inet6 route add 2001:41D0:2:59ff:ff:ff:ff:ff dev eth0

I have 2 questions:
1) If my IPv6 network is 2001:41d0:2:5970::/64 what is my gateway ? is it 2001:41d0:2:5FF:FF:FF:FF:FF or 2001:41d0:2:59FF:FF:FF:FF:FF
2) I`m adding IPv6 address 2001:41d0:2:5970::1 / 64 to Esxi host, later when I`m trying to add gateway I`m receiving error: there are no VMkernel interfaces on the same network with that IP address.

I google it up - it seeams that its because gateway are my network are in diffrent network. How I can fix it ? Do i need to add some kind of second ipv6 IP inside gateway network ?
