Hi Zoltan,

I note that both emails in your previous post are from the same email address.

Have tried from a different email address?

Hello Mark,

Today I have resent my message to abuse@ovh.net using two different mail service providers. In both cases, I have repeatedly received a notification on failed delivery. I paste in the full header information below, maybe it will give you some clue on why the delivery failed. Thank you.

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your recommendation. I have checked both my email server (server2.megacp.com) and its IP (5.56.38.50). The domain's blacklisting is zero out of 221, the IP's blacklisting is 1 out of 221 (APEWS Level 2, "no one is using this block list") so my email server IP is clean. However, should abuse@ovh.net apply any block list, they would filter out spam abuse complaints too, which would be alarming.

The facts are that 1) I receive and send emails smoothly, without any mail delivery error message EXCEPT FOR abuse@ovh.net, 2) my email server is basically not blacklisted, 3) you can successfully send email to abuse@ovh.net, 4) I cannot send email to abuse@ovh.net (failed delivery message, no confirmation of receipt), 5) what happened before is that I received many spams and I reported them to abuse@ovh.net, so one might logically assume that MY email address (email server) is blocked by abuse@ovh.net.
But let's stay with the facts. There is at least one person who is blocked from sending messages to abuse@ovh.net (for unknown reasons). Is there a way for me to email the European Abuse Department, or the European Head Office (and get a confirmation of receipt of e-mail)?

Your advice is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Zoltan

I've just tried to send an email from a 3rd party email company and it didn't bounced back. Maybe it's the email you're sending it from that has been blacklisted.

check your email server IP here:

Dear forum members,
Dear Admins,

I would like to send a message to the OVH European Abuse Deprtment and/or the OVH European Head Office.
I have tried to send my message to the abuse@ovh.net e-mail address several times, but I have repeatedly received a notification on failed delivery. This is part of the message notifying on failed delivery:

"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

abuse@ovh.net
retry timeout exceeded"

If you wish I can upload the full header.

It seems that some messages are not delivered to abuse@ovh.net. (Also, I received no confirmation of receipt.) What do you recommend, how can I contact the European Abuse Department, or the European Head Office?

Your advice is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Zoltan
