As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Soyoustart isn't really intended for serious business use - what do you expect for thirty quid a month?

They have not even provided the failover IPs yet. This is the second week and they keep playing irritating games sending emails of requesting documents which I have already provided.

With respect to the routing I am not expecting them to manage it for me - I am a CCIE net engineer . The soyoustart control panel is buggy and it does not permit creation of virtual mac or even delete the reverse dns entries created. I have ported the current IP to the firewall and just asking them deliver the extra IPs by pointing it to the dedicated server IP.

I am two weeks behind schedule for the project I rented the server for and my stakeholders are on my neck. I have never seen such mediocre support team before. I have gone back to https://www.cwcs.co.uk/ this afternoon- very good support and response.

That's how they're routed by default. If you're using a virtual firewall, you need to create a virtual MAC in the manager and assign it to the NIC on your firewall's VM. You can use multiple IPs on the same MAC, you just need to assign them first.

OVH servers are unmanaged. Support won't help you with configuration problems.

Kindly also inform support to route the fail over IPs in my order to my server IP. This is to enable me assign the IPs to my hosts behind my virtual firewall appliance.

Its a week now since I rented my server and my failover IPs have not been delivered for me to begin configuration.

Worse of all I have not received feedback from support concerning the information they requested.

Am I going to get an extension to my billing cycle?

Agree. I am not totaly leaving my bussiness to OVH system. Only using as backup. But If I decide to move my infr. to ovh one day. I will make it mirror with doubling eveything in clustering servers. But still trying to decide if I shoulh go with Hetzner.
