SYS FO IP problem - no answer from support ?

If you can ping the outside world from the VM then routing is working (unless you are using source routing on your ping), far more likely to be a windows firewall blocking ICMP type issue. Try a traceroute 91.121.58.x (tracert on windows) from the internet and see how close to the vm you get.

Yes, first of all, you should contact the Irish/English support team for all requests about your server (because it was ordered from the Irish site).

Secondly,
You say that you can ping the outside world from the Windows VM, could you post screenshots from the network configuration so that we are able to help you?

I'm under the impression that this is a confg issue in which case the support team will not help you. However, when I return home from work or I am on lunch I'll do my best to assist you.

Hello,

I ordered a SYS GAME-3 server (BETA) with one FO IP. My issue is that my FO IP isn't receiving any ICMP request.

I'm running with the following setup :

ESXi host : 37.187.X.X (main server IP)
Gateway : 37.187.X.254

FO IP : 91.121.X.X associated to a VMware VMAC in the SYS control panel

I followed the this guide for the VM network setup : http://help.ovh.com/BridgeClient
I've set up a really basic Windows 8.1 VM in VMware and I can't ping it from the outside world. I'm able to ping any outside IP from the VM.

I ran a tcpdump directly from the ESXi host to catch any ICMP requests and I don't see any. It seems like there is a routing problem with the FO IP.

I also tried the same basic setup in a linux VM, without success. It exactly behaves the same. There is no soft/hard firewall. I tried to delete the FO IP VMAC and then tried to create it again, didn't work.

I tried to contact the SYS France team via http://www.soyoustart.com/fr/support/ and got no answer by email.

Since I ordered the server from http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/, but it is actually hosted in France in RBX2, do I need to contact SYS Support from http://www.soyoustart.com/ie/support/ ?
