Your server is using the OVH kernel whilst your other server appears to be using the distro kernel, so yes you should change to the distro kernel.

Hi. I just rented a SYS server to expand my Minecraft network. I use the tool cpulimit to limit how much CPU time each java process is allowed to use. This works fine on my old server, but not on the new one. Both servers have Debian Wheezy installed, but the old one (hosted at another company) has linux 3.2.0-4-amd64. The one hosted by SYS has linux 3.10.23-xxxx-std-ipv6-64. This seems to be the only difference.

Should I downgrade the kernel? I'm not exactly sure how to do that on a headless server, so any help would me much appreciated.
