HELP 8TB 2x4TB SYS server control panel only sees 4TB Total

Hi, when i first installed the server i was able to change the /home partition to use raid 0 instead of raid 1 and it used the full space 8TB. (2x 4tb disks). I just needed to reinstall ubuntu and no matter what I do in the control panel to reinstall the MAX size I see is only 4TB only. Even if i change /home to raid 0 it still only shows 4TB. Anyone have this problem before? and how to fix this? Why isnt the control panel detecting the total storage size correctly like it did on first install?
