#ip -6 neigh
fe80::ee30:91ff:fee0:df80 dev eth0 FAILED
2001:41d0:2:9bff:ff:ff:ff:ff dev eth0 lladdr 00:05:73:a0:00:00 router STALE|FAILED
I'm out of ideas here.

Edit:
# traceroute6 google.com
traceroute to google.com (2a00:1450:400c:c07::8a), 30 hops max, 80 byte packets

Is it me or the gateway, as I assume if it was me, I wouldn't even be able to contact the gateway?

The server has been up 528 days, 23:06 to be exact.

I guess the problem is the lack of a Scope:Link entry in ifconfig?

That said, as I can ping the gateway, I did try
route -A inet6 add default gw 2001:41d0:2:9FF:FF:FF:FF:FF dev eth0
didn't affect anything.

Now pinging gateway fails

On another server, the gateway is 2001:41d0:1:92FF:FF:FF:FF:FF, which totally condradicts the ovh guide, stating it should be 2001:41d0:1:9FF:FF:FF:FF:FF

Hello,

Did you make any config changes before this issue occurred? Please ensure the IP is configured in accordance with the following URL:

Ok, so I thought I'd do an 'apt-get update'...
....
....
Hit http://debian.mirrors.ovh.net squeeze/main i386 Packages
60% [Connecting to security.debian.org (2001:a78:5:0:216:35ff:fe7f:be4f)]
even
# ping6 -c 5 google.com
PING google.com(2a00:1450:400c:c07::65) 56 data bytes
^C
--- google.com ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 19999ms
or sometimes
# ping6 -i 5 google.com
connect: Network is unreachable
# ifconfig

k# ip -6 route

Any ideas?

Edit:

After some hours faffing about, I can now ping my gateway but nothing else.....
