Add IP to SolusVM

If you have a OpenVZ master you don't need to add virtual macs as you can simply specify venets in SolusVM. If you are the only user of the server I would recommending going for Proxmox as it's in my opinion eaisier to manage for single user installations.

If I understood right, the IP-address worked automaticly after assigning it to the virtual machine? In that case, you don't have to bother with virtual macs.

When I add a MAC Address I can no longer ping the IP, so I must have to assign it to the interface right?

Well its simple, as a block ip put additional ip/block: x.x.x.x/32. As per gateway, you need to put your MAIN server ip like: x.x.x.254. And NetMask is: 255.255.255.255. Don't forget to create MAC Address for additional ip from ovh/sys main panel and add in solusvm manually.

Merry Christmas!

I have purchased 1 IP. I have managed to configure it and can now ping it from my home. Now I want to test SolusVM and want to add this IP and assign it to a VM, but the only option is to add a block and then an IP.

What information do I put for the block? After the block is added I can add the individual IP, but I am having trouble figuring out what to put for the gateway etc.
