Have you assigned a virtual mac to your FO ip and that same mac to the vm? Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.255.

I followed this guide:

http://help.ovh.co.uk/bridgeclient

So have configured the virtual host accordingly to bridge the network connectivity although i'm still running into issues.

Hello,

I purchased an additional IP Address through the cPanel to install on a VM I have running on my host. Everything went through fine in terms of the transactions, however, i'm struggling to get this routing correctly & currently don't have any connectivity beyond the vSwitch on the ESXi host.

I have the subnet mask as 255.255.255.0, the default gateway as x.x.x.254 & DNS as 213.186.33.99.

In the cPanel it says that the IP Address is a 'Failover (FO)', is that correct?

All the Best,

Josh
