Does it say rsyslog is unrecognized - if so then maybe it is not running anyway.

yes mate i have checked now its doesn't appear to me there is only syslog is it the file ??

When you try to login ssh, or when you try to stop rsyslog?

hello @ all i have a little question about this trick

service rsyslog stop
cp /etc/rsyslog.conf /etc/rsyslog.conf.backup
sed -i -e 's/^\$ModLoad imklog/#\$ModLoad imklog/g' /etc/rsyslog.conf
service rsyslog start

please to tell me where to put this lines to do this stuff
