USB. we've found out a very quick HD with USB interface.
4 HD/server work. I hope we start this week, but not sure.

The deliveries are done without delay. As against, we have over
Kimsufi commands on the XL. The reason is that customers switch to
Kimsufi L to XL because they need more computing power. The promotion
2XL continues on. You are all likely to order the 2XL that the L!
On the range PRO nothing to say everything is delivered in 1 hour. Now production
is properly adjusted sales.
This week, we had a slight delay in deliveries Wednesday
and Thursday due to internal training 70% of teams to datacentre management
in medium voltage (20000V). The goal is to reduce the time for intervention
20000V of about 30-45 minutes to 2-3 minutes with the teams that are already on
24 hours on 24. So everyone can change a fuse 20000V
We changed the system this week closure order dedicated servers
to adapt to new routers VSS. There are no consequences. It is
just for info. As against, we can finally start work on
Premium 1Gbps/2Gbps the SLA per customer.
European The Chtix backbone is deployed. Thus the Espanix in Madrid
the router has been established. Normally this week everything should work.
The same applies to MIX in Milan that will be placed in the bay Tuesday and NIX in Prague. In
VIX will follow later in Vienna. We have a few behind to Zurick to TIX
because of customs problems, but it will be resolved early this week. On PL-IX
Warsaw, we will deploy in the week, but it is a little more
complicated. Indeed, the central routing in Poland is made LIM
which is a ... hotel. 4 floors of the hotel were designed by various
companies to rent bays. In short, we must put in the router
and the car faire 2000km instead of sending it by UPS and fly.
10G Transit Level3 in Paris have been put in place. There is still 10G
Level3 of Madrid. We still have some small problems with 10G
with Global Crossing in London, sometimes jumping BGP session. For now
we have not yet found the cause of the problem (a fiber optics sale
somewhere ... but where?).
In parallel, we continue to work on IP loadbalancing which is
face final beta test. It remains only to servers
monitoring that will detect the servers down and then remove / add the
servers in a cluster. Same for the KVM and all options we have
already spoken. With the move of offices, we needed to find
brands to develop again as quickly as before. I hope
it is done and we can move forward. Because there is work to do.
We will offer the 500GB hard drive to 10Euro HT / month, up 4 CDs
more per server. it is an option you can add hot without
reboot the server. So if you have a Kimsufi L, you have 250GB for
4x10E/mois you 2GB more (in RAID-0)!
We reforça Access Security Manager. You have a login page
more explicit. You receive an email notification when you
connect to the Manager. Other measures will be implemented this week.
The aim is to face attempts of phishing manager and Ovh
protect our customers against themselves and despite themselves. The task is simple.
Other surprises will follow in the coming weeks.
