The OVH VPS has permanent mitigation available form the OVH manager.

One more question

I have read already in many communities that people facing same problem about DDOS attack to their server

My Question is that

OVH VPS is having Permanent mitigation ?

If that so Can we use have OVH VPS as a Bridge to our SYS server to make it useful for permanent mitigation ?

We are not having much budget for OVH Dedicated but we are forced into it unfortunately !

Your account is registered with SYS FR, you would need to contact SYS FR regarding your ticket.

As for the DDOS protection, for SYS servers it is set to automatic for the DDOS protection. It would activate itself once the system detects an attack. Once the attack has finished, the DDOS system will withdraw.

On the OVH servers, you have the option to set the DDOS protection to be permanent.

This is the third message about this issue

The Detection delayed & sometimes not detecting it !
which make the attacks goes through the server directly without filtering !

A Huge DDOS Attack happened about 6 ~ 8 hours ago caused

- Server Not Respond

- All applications crashed (Web server Apache + Game Server + TeamSpeak Server & many others)

- Debian OS acting strangely /;

can't create /var/cache/apt-show-versions/apackages: No space left on device at /usr/bin/apt-show-versions line 266

- Data loss occurred to our Databases

- We did a restart to the whole Server but all applications not working

- In Linux "Webmin" application panel
Shows:
Failed to create temp directory /tmp/.webmin : uid= mode=

- Now All webserver & game server & Teamspeak server were down ! & we can't restart them ! We did a restart to the whole server but applications not working any more, It looks like many things corrupted


We are customers here from more than 6 months ago

We didn't had much problems before ( except last 2 months)

We already read the last message about & we didn't find it as a solution ! [TICKET#2015011919002863]

We already renew the our server from (SyS) for the next month

If there is no solution can comes from SyS

We want to upgrade to OVH

We just need to verify if we can refund & allow us to backup our files & move it to the NEW OVH Dedicated server or not
