I guess reinstall would be the easiest. A managed server would be recommended for the future.

This is why a lot of customers have issues, you don't have the basic knowledge required to maintain your server at a software level. I recommend you hire a management company to do the rebuild for you, or simply reinstall the server.

In future, it would probably be easier to go for Hardware RAID, as the rebuild should be performed automatically.

So it worked well for over 4000 hours. That's over 5 months.

If they want to replace the disk, well the better. After replacing it, add the new disk to the old raid array. Google for tutorial on how to do that.
I tried to goggling it its shows me many ways for different options

For Example this link
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...system_to_RAID
Is this fine ? should I follow each step & do it as it says ?

If this is too much complicated & reinstall (complete format) is the easiest I think I will reinstall fresh Debian OS again .... Unfortunately I'm wasting time on this new server order !

RAID mirrors your data onto both drives so that if one fails, the other still has the data. Refer to this for information: http://help.ovh.co.uk/raidsoft

No, backup to an external location, not to the same server.

Or use the backup space provided by OVH.

OVH TECH :

Hello,

The SDA disc is faulty and it should be replaced. Please
confirm us the data backup before any intervention.
Once it is done you need to rebuild the raid by following
this link: http://help.ovh.co.uk/raidsoft
An administrator can do it for you for 80 euros but you
need to install our SSH by following this link:
http://help.ovh.co.uk/InstallOvhKey

I took this server in the last 24 hours, It is not my fault

It is supposed to be working fine as it shows in that PDF (system status) when I order it

I spent all the time building web & mail server & other stuff

It should be fully backed-up & fixed this issue

Sorry I'm not gonna pay 80 euro for this damaged server

It shows me this
